According to tribal spokeswoman Stacey Montooth, police were able to get Behnoud out of his vehicle by using two flash bangs.

The pursuit ended when the male driver stopped inside the Nugget parking lot, where police were negotiating with the suspect to get out.

SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A 37-year-old man was arrested early Saturday morning after police say he led them on a pursuit through Reno and ultimately barricaded himself in his car in the Nugget Casino parking lot in Sparks.

Sheriff's officials say the initial incident, on tribal land in south Reno, involved some type of long weapon and someone impersonating an FBI agent.

No injuries or car crashes occurred during the pursuit, according to sheriff's officials.

After a lengthy standoff, Reno-Sparks Indian Colony police arrested 37-year-old Ali Behnoud, later charging him with assault, impersonating a public officer, trespassing and disobeying a peace officer.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, there was a report of a disturbance at a business in south Reno involving a weapon that led to a pursuit.
